Primary Years Creative Writing Workshop ONLY (KG to Year 6)

Learning Outcomes and Objectives

Creative Writing will enable students to improve their literacy skills. Furthermore, students will enhance their writing, creative thinking skills, visual representation, writing skills and their planning/brainstorming skills. Lessons are linked to the Australian Curriculum. 

FEE STRUCTURE:

Students will be charged $50 (or at no cost with a valid Creative Kids Voucher) for one creative writing workshop which includes a 90-minute workshop.

CLASS AVAILABILITY: 

We offer ONE 90 minute class per week, Saturday from 9.00AM to 10.30AM. 

You will need some materials to participate in this lesson. A list of what is required is below – you can bring these from home or buy elsewhere.

ONLINE MATERIALS REQUIRED:

1 x Exercise Book 

1 x Scrapbook

Drawing Items for visual story drawing such as Oil Pastels, Paint Set, Crayons, Pencils etc

1 x Pencil/Pen

1 x Highlighters

1 x Sharpener

1 x Eraser/Liquid Paper

Furthermore, students will enhance their writing, group working skills, creative thinking skills, independent thinking skills, visual illustration, and their planning/brainstorming skills

Class sizes are limited to 20 students to ensure educational fun and effective learning.

Additional class times may be scheduled on Zoom during the January school holidays based on demand. 

Lesson Bookings

Once Service NSW approves your voucher, you will receive a link to book your child’s preferred class and obtain the Zoom link. Our live, 90-minute, step-by-step Zoom classes are conducted by qualified and dedicated teachers.

Booking Details:

Advance Registration: Required at least 24 hours before the scheduled class.

Materials: Please ensure your child has all relevant materials ready.

Rescheduling: If your child is unable to attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule.
